The province of Camarines Norte continues to serve as a benchmark in implementing the provisions of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities at the local level through the formulation of policies that eliminate discrimination, remove barriers, and ensure accessibility for all persons with disabilities, thereby ensuring their full and effective participation and inclusion in society while at the same time promoting and protecting their human rights.
The disability inclusive initiatives of the provincial government was also translated in modifying the physical structures and adding accessibility features to accommodate the physical and mobility impaired employees and clientele frequenting the provincial capitol compound.
